Hey guys! As you can tell, we are new to the blogging world... so there may be some pretty random content popping up on here. Like this picture... it was taken at Fisher Formal. Not New Zealand. Duh.
These are words that are funny to say with the Kiwi accent:
American word=New Zealand pronunciation
wicked=weekay(t) air=eeyah (pronounced almost like "ear") Raw = roar 1-2-3=one-toe-thray 7:30 p.m. = Seevuhn thuhty pee-ehyum Turn Left = tuhn leeft Galoshes/rain boots = gum boots fish and chips=fush en chups cool=coo (with a lot of the "w" sound at the end) www=dubdubdub nz=en-zed heartbreak=hotbreck Sweaty=sweety Paihia=Pie-hee-yah (not Pie-thay-ah, as the guy in the Mobil gas station told us) Trunk=boot
